Vanco Payment Solutions and Connexeo Merge to form Vanco

(Minneapolis & Atlanta October 17, 2018) — Vanco Payment Solutions and Connexeo are pleased to announce their merger on October 17, 2018, resulting in a combined company under the name Vanco. Forming Vanco will be advantageous to both Vanco and Connexeo customers and partners by offering a new, broader set of services and products that fill needs in both education and faith-based markets. The combined company will better serve its partners with improved technology infrastructure, product development, enhanced security and a unified user experience.

Vanco has been a leading provider of payment processing solutions that serve the faith-based and nonprofit markets for 20 years. With more than 20,000 customers, the company makes it easy for families to donate to a cause, make a payment, or tithe through a platform that includes text-based payments, kiosks, online web pages and mobile applications. Connexeo, based in Minneapolis, is a pioneer in education administration and payments software, music program management, sports, arts, and event ticketing.

“Both companies are highly complementary in our core values and services, which makes this merger incredibly exciting. Community organizations such as schools, churches and nonprofits are seeking ways to spend less time on administrative work, so they can invest their energy in areas of impact on their community,” said Vanco CEO Shawn Boom. “With this combination, we will be even better at helping our customers and partners focus on the work that matters to them.”

Boom will serve as CEO of Vanco. Charlie Piper, Connexeo’s CEO, will serve as Chairman of the Board for Vanco.

“Joining forces with Vanco means providing additional software capabilities and a larger software development team to Vanco customers and Connexeo’s 14,000 education clients. Vanco will continue to invest in our current customers and their successful use of the existing products and services along with new enhancements and user experiences. Partners will see rapid value through the enhanced APIs and next generation analytics and reporting” said Piper.

Vanco will have 225 employees and retain its current offices in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Cancún, Mexico and Melbourne, Australia. Great Hill Partners will own Vanco.
