Using Vanco Online for Donations and Payments: FAQ's for members and visitors

Trying to make a donation or payment to your church? See the guide below for help with some common questions users have about Vanco’s online giving process.

Vanco Online Giving

: Navigate to your church’s website and locate their online giving page. This is usually identifiable through a “Give Now” or “Donate Now” button.
: To give a gift, you’ll need to navigate to your church’s website and locate their online giving page. There is no way for you to give to your church at Vancopayments.com.

: To change the amount or frequency of your existing recurring donation, log into your profile. Once you are logged in, click on the profile icon in the upper righthand corner. From the left-hand menu, select transactions and click edit on any upcoming scheduled donations. Use the drop-down boxes to edit your existing transaction to your new desired frequency, amount or payment method.
: If you share an email address during the donation process, you’ll be emailed a receipt immediately after your donation or payment is made.
: To request a refund, please contact your church office.

Vanco Profile

: The easiest way to determine if you have a profile is to reset your password on your church’s Vanco Online giving page. To reset your password, click the login button in the upper right-hand corner of your church’s Vanco Online giving page. Enter your email address and click next. Once you are on the screen where it asks you to enter your password, click the “Forgot password” button. If your email address is registered to a Vanco account, you’ll receive an email asking you to reset your password. If you do not receive an email from Vanco, then you do not have an account.
: With your church’s new Vanco Online giving page, your username is your email address.
: To reset your password, click the login button in the upper right-hand corner of your church’s Vanco Online giving page. Enter your email address and click next. : Click the login button in the upper right corner of your church’s Vanco Online giving page. Enter your email address and password. Once you’re logged in, navigate to transactions under your profile. From here you can see upcoming scheduled gifts under scheduled or switch to history to see your giving history.
: To add a new payment method to your Vanco profile, complete a new donation or payment with your preferred payment method. On the payment method page there will be a box that you can check to save this method for future use. To remove an existing payment method you can visit payment methods under your profile and remove the specific payment method.
: Reach out to your church office for all applicable tax documents.
: Yes. As part of our comprehensive security and privacy safeguards, we only collect the pertinent information required to perform your payment transactions. Additionally, that information is stored in Vanco’s secure system and only used when needed to fulfill your requests and services. Additionally, we are a certified Level 1 PCI 3.2 Service Provider. : You can download the Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement app for free at the Apple App Store or Google Play.
